ABOUT THE Crusaders
WHO WE ARE
The Illinois Crusaders is a high school football program that accepts players from homeschool, public, and private schools all over Chicago. We were established in 2011 by D.R. Callentine, a visionary for whom we are forever thankful. In 2015, Roger Scott became the Football Athletic Director. Roger brought his vast experience to the program. A father of ten and grandfather of fifteen. He has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 35 years. Roger has been an Illinois home builder for over thirty years and has a communication degree from Bethel University. His leadership and vision have always been a great asset to us.

Illinois Crusaders work towards ensuring boys learn and develop the traits and skills necessary to excel in life after high school. We start with the Bible as we use it as the centerpiece of our program and let players learn to appreciate the game of football while incorporating these principles. We aim for the players to accept and achieve their core values and fulfill their entire selves physically, spiritually, and mentally.

- Sacrifice
- Discipline
- Preparation
- Standard of Performance
- Perseverance
- Teamwork

These principles and values are essential and will be incorporated with every coach and athlete daily, on and off the field, ensuring success in football, academics, and life.
Philippians 2:3-4

We take pride in hosting our home games at Aurora Central Catholic in Aurora and traveling for away games across the Midwest. Every year, to end the season, we attend the Annual NHFA National tournament in Panama City, Florida, which is the highlight of our season.
